My door is open. Book a free 30 min call.
Most law firms make you fill out a form and wait. Instead, here's a calendar.
This free 30-minute prospective client call is exactly what it sounds like. You tell me what's on your mind, and I point you in the right direction. You don't need a specific problem or a document in hand. If you just want to understand how the firm works, what I can help with, or whether flat-fee legal support makes sense for your business, that's a perfectly good reason to book.
By the end of the call we'll both have a sense of whether we're a good fit. There's no pressure and no obligation, and I'm not going to spend the time selling you anything.
A little about how I work
I'm Morgan Bobadilla. I spent most of my career as an in-house lawyer, most recently as Director and General Counsel at a global manufacturer here in Tacoma, which means I think about legal questions in the context of running a business, not just the law on its own. I work on flat fees and retainers, so you always know what something costs before we start. No hourly billing, no meter running while you think out loud.
If you want to make the call useful
You don't have to prepare anything. But if your question involves a specific contract, a particular company you're dealing with, or a document you've been handed, you're welcome to send it over ahead of time. Two reasons that helps. First, it lets me run a quick conflicts check, which is just me making sure I'm not already working with someone on the other side of your situation. Second, I'm a curious person by nature, so while I can't promise I'll have read every page before we talk, the odds are decent that I will have.
Sending me something ahead of time doesn't create an attorney-client relationship or make me your lawyer. It just helps us have a better conversation.
Booking a call or sending materials ahead of it doesn't create an attorney-client relationship. We become lawyer and client only through a signed engagement agreement.
